Every time I put a thermostat in the van, the temperature indicator rises to about 3/4 and drops back to normal and back up again and stays up in the range of 3/4. So I was afraid that I could do damage to the aluminum block, and I took the thermostat out and the van is running normal, but the Fall season is around the corner and I'm in a bad situation.
