In late fall 2021, I had to have a new fuel pump and a fuel control module (I forget the actual part name and the paper work is with the van at the dealership).
It never worked right after those were replaced. In fact they were replaced a second time at no additional cost, other than the tow truck. It still did not work right then it died completely. The battery was so dead, I could not even get the key fob to unlock the doors. So I had to pay a locksmith. Then I had it towed to a Dodge dealership.
It took around a month for them to figure out that it was the TIPM randomly causing the fuel pump to kick on and drain the batter. Oh, and the dealership charged me for a new battery at their huge labor costs. I did that because I was busy and they thought that was my only problem.
They then told me (this was in March 2022) that the supplier did not have a TIPM, we should check back in May.
I now have an estimate from the dealership that when they find the TIPM, it will cost around $2,300.
