After completing my service, I was notified the tech could not torque my wheels (Had them rotated) due to lug nuts badly corroded and collapsed as to not allow the socket to fit properly and it was highly suggested that I replace them at quoted price of $12 dollars each. I gave the okay and they come back and tell me they only had six in stock. So I ask "Isn't this a safety issue ?" Like won't my wheels fall off down the road. Hid answer was underwhelming and since he didn't think it was an issue I left and on the following service had the remaining lug nuts replaced. I would like to know how it is possible for a five year old vehicle to have rotting lug nuts ??????? This should be a recall and in addition, all caravan accidents should be reopened and investigated for steering problem or wheels coming off prior to accident. Not good Dodge.....
