My worst fears came true...5 weeks after the 2nd incident...the vehicle AGAIN turned off on me as I was slowing on a curve...getting ready to accelerate onto an InterState freeway! I really had to pull the steering wheel to get far enough off the road that cars on the road wouldn't hit me!
As in the past...the dealership kept the car a few days and couldn't duplicate the problem. I say "3 strikes and you are out!"...and I am trying to get the leasing company to exchange the vehicle...even though I only have had it 8 months! I am afraid to drive it and risk it happening again...an accident is bound to happen sooner or later!
I read another report of the identical problem with the 2010 Grand Caravan from a person in New Mexico. Unfortunately for that person, they own the vehicle, and since the dealerships can't seem to duplicate the problem during their short time with it...she is stuck with it and afraid to drive it!
Someone from Dodge needs to drive take these vehicles and drive them for at least a month as their own transportation...I am sure the will experience the problem at some point!
