The keyless ignition is a bad idea when they start to not work properly. They are expensive to replace when lost or break. And start to malfunction early in a vehicles life. You do not figure out there is a problem until you lock your car, go into a store and come out and all your doors are unlocked and the back sliding doors are wide open. If you are lucky you thank God nothing, including your vehicle, was stolen. When it is raining or snowing your back seats get all wet. Then they start to smell if they do not get dried out properly. You finally just remove the batteries because putting new ones in does not make a difference. Then it is not just the key that is causing locking and unlocking problems with the car. The door buttons on driver side quit opening other doors. So then you have to put batteries in one of the extra automatic keys and keep it in the car so you can use it to open doors from the inside. But don't use that one to drive because the back doors will automatically slide open while you are driving down the road. You keep that one in side pocket of the door and pray no one breaks into your car and finds it or it will be bye bye vehicle.
NEVER BUYING A CAR WITH ELECTRIC DOORS, WINDOWS OR IGNITION AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
QUIT MAKING THEM. MORE VEHICLES HAVE BEEN STOLEN SINCE THESE HAVE BEEN ON THE MARKET.!!!!!!!!!!!!
