The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving 40 mph, the contact heard a strange noise and noticed steam rising from the front end of the vehicle. The dealer stated that the radiator was cracked and the inner hoses were damaged due to pressure build-up. The dealer further stated that the VIN was excluded from NHTSA campaign number: 09V046000 (electrical system). The manufacturer stated that the VIN was included in the recall and informed the contact of other recalls as well. The contact never received any recall notices. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 51,200.
