My TIPM went crazy and after researching online, I was able to get a used one from a local company that re-manufactures them. They have a Dodge/Chrysler diagnostic scan tool and was able to reset the TIPM after it was installed as well.
However, the airbag light came on immediately after the TIPM was installed. Had the dealer run diagnostics and they said it was broken clock spring and has to be replaced and will cost $424. I asked if it could be something with the replaced TIPM as the airbag light was not on until the TIPM was replaced. It just seems too coincidental. I will be replacing the clock spring as this is a safety issues but will be looking for a better price outside of the dealer.
