A wire broke in BOTH sliding doors so the doors did not open or close automatically, the window did not work nor did the heated seats. This car had a recall on the wire harness chafing and breaking wires that was fixed in 2010. However Dodge says that since it has been fixed once they are not responsible to fix again, especially with so much time that has passed. I feel like it is more faulty parts, I mean come on, BOTH doors.

The dealers aren't any help. I took my van and told them I that I wanted the wiring harness replaced, they refused to do it with out doing the diagnosis at $110/hour. I actually called three dealers in the area who all said the same thing. I decided to take it to a dealer because I had just had the TIPM fixed and I wanted to make sure the mechanics really knew the system - what a mistake. They called to say after an hour, they still didn't know the problem and had to do a second hour of diagnosis - despite that I had already told them what was wrong and the codes that it had. After the second hour of diagnosis they called to tell me - surprise - I needed the wire harness replaced on both sides. I was not happy with the dealer and let them know but I still had to pay the two hours of diagnostics plus the $600plus repair cost.
