Everytime the van goes through standing water on the road for fiteen to thirty seconds the sterring goes out and after that it sounds like a belt is about to belt the screaming from the belt continues until all the wtaer has either been thrown off the belt or dries up this could last with the noise as long as it is raining and the failure of the power stering unit comes and goes as you go through water puddles on the road the dealership has never been able to find a problem even though the power stering pump went out at 18,ooo miles and we had a leak around 25,000 which they fixed under warranty the major problem is you can not steer the van at all when it goes out it becomes extremely stiff and resistant.
