when pumping gas, the pump shuts off after a few seconds
I own a 2006 Dodge Caravan STX, and this February I have a problem of not being able to put gas into my van. When I pump gas, the pump would shut off after several attempts even after re-positioning the pump in the neck. It would take about 45 minutes to fill the van. It more of a nusiance than a serious problem. I had no idea what the problem was until I read some complaints here on this website. Now I hope to learn how much this is gonna cost me to repair.
Update from Jun 5, 2015: This is only a issue during the winter months. Warm weather seems to alleviate the problem.
