My wife bought the van in February of this year(2011) and everything seemed fine until summer came and we started to travel and using the A/C,( From Florida to West Virginia to Chicago and back to Florida). Whoever sat in the passenger side had to keep their feet on the dash and we could not put anything on the floorboard at all. The whole carpet was just drenched with water. It actually sloshed around at some points. We had to turn the A/C off and use the good 'ol 2-70 A/C. This did not last long though because we had 7 people in the vehicle, myself and my wife, and our kids, 15, 13, 9, 4, and 6.
Needless to say it was pretty miserable. After looking online to see what the problem might be I actually found that other people had the same or similar problems.
I I called the dealer to see if they could do something especially since we only had the van for 3-4 months when the problem reared its ugly head. Sadly since it was not on the recall list they could do nothing but check it out and charge us for the fix.
Still waiting to get it fixed, got to save up the money to do it. My wife works full time and I am a disabled vet getting compensation so money is tight especially in this economy.
Oh well, thanks for the opportunity to vent about the vehicle problems. I hope everyone else gets resolution also.
