After picking up the van and paying 991 dollars to repair the AC compressor and make the car drivable again, within 150 miles, the car lost pick-up again, and was bucking and heaving and revving up to 5000 rpm for very modest speeds. I am suspicious that this is a transmission failure, and am really pissed at what seems to be a problem that other owners have experienced as well. Shoddy design and workmanship, it looks like to me!
