The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that he was unable to turn the steering wheel. The power steering hose came loose then the vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer was unable to diagnose the failure however; they reattached the power steering hose. The failure mileage was 20,000 and current mileage was 40,000. Updated 03-04-08
(1)during a routine home maintenance, I noticed there is a build up of soot on top of the intake assembly. Upon closer inspection, power steering reservoir was cracked and the fluid is near the low level. (2) power steering fluid at low level (3) part replaced at dealer, no I do not have the old part. I paid out of pocket as Chrysler warranty does not cover parts deemed damaged by outside force.
