I need the outlet to power my satellite radio. After the warranty was up (36 months) the outlet occasionally cut out, finally failed altogether. The rear outlet works fine. I took it to an auto electrical service station (while they were fixing the failed power windows and failed power door locks) and although there was juice running to the outlet, the contacts must have been bad, so they replaced it gratis while doing the other work.
