The fuel line is not secured to the undercarriage. It came out of its open U shaped hanger and fell against the driveline. The drive line then wore a hole in the gas line shutting down the vehicle and spewing fuel all over. Stranding everyone. Luckily it did not start a fire from the muffler. It has been repaired and tied to the hanger so that it will not come out again.
Fuel leak on ims [independent mobility systems, Inc] Dodge rampvan. Fuel line was modified [extended] as part of conversion. Wrong type of hose was used. Per dealer/mechanic ims used regular carburetor hose instead of fuel injection high pressure hose. This resulted in cracks in line and gas leakage. Potential for fire, catastrophic loss existed.
The fuel line is leaking. Vehicle was taken to the dealer, who attempted to fix the problem twice on 6/5/2003 & 6/11/2003, but the problem still exists.
