Flash: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Module Enhancements
This bulletin involves reprogramming the ACC module with the latest software available.
Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set: C15D8-00 - Mismatch Tire Size.If the DTC is active, perform the software update and if stored, perform diagnostics per the published service procedure. The customer may describe one or more of the following: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is inoperable and the warning light is on in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) is inoperable and the warning light is on in the IPC.
