The race track lighting on the vehicle which is the back lights has a factory defect and fills with water from rain and shorts out. Now my lights do not work and can also cause my brake lights and other lights to fail or cause an electrical fire. God forbid. This is a known problem but dodge has not made it a recall yet and should. The part is 1200 without installation.

I HAVE A 2019 DODGE DURANGO Which has a faulty brake light that stays on. after doing some extensive research there was a recall on the durango. (Recall 21A, NHTSA 23E-019) This recall is for defective Hydraulic Control Unit. Now the recall letter issues a suspected range on the units based on the Julian date of Manufacturing. for this recall is numbers 8166-9106. my unit is8355. The dealerships and Dodge have been making it difficult for me to have replaced because my VIN is not listed for this recall, but its clear it should based on the recall letter that provides the exact range of faulty units that mine falls inline with. I have attached some pics of the recall letter and of my hydraulic unit. any help will be appreciated

My car has 7000 miles on it and the brake light is stuck on thanks to a faulty reading in the ABS system. This also causes the car to think someone is in the car because the brake pedal is being pressed. It is illegal to operate a car without the brake lights working properly not to mention unsafe. My car has been setting in the driveway for over 3 months and Chrysler is in no hurry to repair it. The ABS module part has a superseded part number so they obviously have addressed the faulty part. I paid a lot for a car that has become a driveway accessory. How long can they drag their feet? They are losing repeat customers.

Brakes do not feel adequate when towing a trailer. The rear of the vehicle drops dramatically when a combined 6000lb boat and trailer when hitched to the factory equipped towing package. I would not drive the vehicle with this condition
