I noticed there is water in my taillight. I looked this up and it is a common problem with these vehicles. Why has Dodge not recalled this?

I am one of many who have part of their LED racetrack light going out due to water intrusion. This is a known issue for Chrysler/Dodge and they need to step and fix the issue for their owners. This should not be happening and LED lights should not be going out this quickly.

2016 Dodge Durango middle tail light filled with water and is completely burnt out. Dealership and Fiat Chrysler say that it is not covered under my factory or the extended warranty I purchased. Dealership wants $1,200 dollars to replace tail light assembly. $35K for a car with only 40K miles and this is considered to them to be a maintenance part, absolutely ridiculous. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FIAT CHRYSLER PRODUCT AGAIN.

Only had the car 2 1/2 years and 51,000 miles. Dodge needs to correct this issue. LED tail light on liftgate has shorted out plus the license plate lights.

Truck was just over a year old when this issue started, contacted several dealers and all say that it is a problem with the Durango but that Dodge will not acknowledge it as a defect. Only way to fix it is to replace it the track light which is ~$1000 and this will just happen again so once it blows out each time then you have to replace it. I didn't pay 45K to have to replace a $1000 track light every few years. There is an obvious gap above the track light and I suspect that I show it is getting in. But every time I drain it I get at least 1/4 to 1/2 cup out of each light. There are numerous YouTube videos of this same issue by other owners so why isn't Dodge correcting the problem? They are going to lose a lot of repeat customers.
