Intermittent problem. Comes and goes. My be related to seat belt that will not retract?

This is the reason American cars are not purchased, poor craftsmanship and do not stand behind product. The airbag light has been coming on for no apparent reason and now permanent. This is a manufacture issue and safety issue, they are making consumers pay for their malfunctioning product
