The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that the rear driver's and passenger's side brake lamps failed to illuminate intermittently and without warning. That contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that water was inside the rear brake lamps casing. The vehicle was taken to fitzgerald Chevrolet of hagerstown (101 S. edgewood dr, hagerstown, md 21740, (301)733-5000) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the door latch assembly was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000. The VIN was not available.
