- Summary
- New Safety Recall Advanced Communication ? P05030614 Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) announced a safety recall on certain 2012 and 2013 model year (WD) Dodge Durango and (WK) Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. The brake pedal may require additional application force to apply the brakes during certain braking events. An unexpected additional brake pedal application force requirement could slow the driver?s brake application reaction time and cause a crash without warning. Chrysler will conduct a voluntary safety recall on all involved vehicles to reprogram the Antilock Brake System (ABS) module. Dealers will be notified of the launch of this safety recall by way of established methods used in the past. Chrysler anticipates the launch of this safety recall in March 2014. We ask that you please take the time to ensure that your personnel are aware of this communication and are prepared to execute a customer friendly process for inquiries on involved vehicles.
