It all started after an accident which the damage was to the radiator and broke a transmission line. I had it all repaired, since then it started overheating and won't shift right, but it does shift right when cool.

I took it to a transmission shop and they checked all the lines, water pump, changed the thermostat, it has a brand new radiator installed already, put a larger transmission cooler on it and put it right in front of the radiator so it catches the flow of the wind first. They put a new transmission shift sensor on it and this is a newly rebuilt transmission within the last two years. I have added Lucas too it and the fluid looks fresh and not burned.

The transmission guy gets it to cool down each time he does something with it but once it is used for mail delivery it overheats once again, lots of stress on it I realize this but never was a problem before.

I also had the rear end rebuilt recently as that was necessary also. It has brand new brakes all the way around it.

I have a feeling something is being missed from the accident because it all started then but can't figure it out nor can anyone else.

The air conditioning works and the engine is not overheating at all, actually the engine is running cooler now the bigger transmission cooler is on it.

I have replaced the throttle speed sensor a while back. That was changed due to not idling properly then. I have done everything but change the filter in it at this point.

Someone said Dodges have a check valve in the lines that may not be opening properly but another mechanic couldn't find it.

I am at my wits end and getting nickel and dimed to death here.
