I have a pop-up camper and it seems that even though this large engine with Tow/Haul package can certainly handle the weight of 3,000 lbs., the transmission started shifting hard shortly after a camping trip. It doesn't always shift hard but sometimes, not only can you feel it but you can hear it. Since it hasn't adversely affected the performance of the Durango, I have not had it diagnosed.
