The gear stick on my 2002 Dodge Durango would not move from PARK. It was stuck no matter how much I jiggled the stick. A friend sent me a "how to" video and I was able to fix the problem in 2 minutes. Get a can of WD-40, pry open the rubber seal around the gear stick, and spray the mechanism enough to lubricate it. Voila! No more problem, gear stick is moving smoothly from PARK to whatever position I want it. I hope this helps others who may have the same problem.
