One week ago and again today, while driving slowly through downtown, a very loud noise, sounding like a gunshot, occurred. It sounded as though it came from underneath the car, but so far, we haven't found anything that we think it could be. We've looked the car over carefully to be sure it wasn't a gunshot. Also, while driving about 30 miles per hour, last week, it suddenly died. Pulled off to side of road, let it set a minute, and it started immediately.
