This is the second window in my Durango. The first was the rear driver side, then the drivers window. This could be a potentially dangerous situation. We had to prop the windows up with something inside the door panel until it is financially possible for us to afford. The cable on the regulators fray and cannot be repaired. The fix would be to replace the regulator with a new one that has insulated cables.

THE WINDOW ACTUATOR FOR ALL 4 DOORS BROKE AT 100,000 TO 110,000 MILES. MORE ELECTRICAL AND RADIATOR PROBLEMS WITH THIS DURANGO. SEEMS THEY ARE DESIGNED TO HAVE MULTIPLE BREAKDOWNS AT 100,000 MILES. NEXT TIME I SHOP FOR A JAPANESE VEHICLE. THEY ARE JUST BETTER MADE THAN USA VEHICLES.

This is the fourth time i will have replaced the part in my driver side window. the bills start to add up after a while. i have also had to replace the rear driver side window twice. is there a recall on this i know of several other people that have had the same problems with the 2002 and 2003 models.

Two of 4 window motors are broken, window falls down. Had to install boards inside door panel to keep window up. 3rd window has symptoms of pre-failure.

Window electric motor is all metal except for a plastic sheeve. Plastic bracket for sheeve breaks off. (50 cent part). Would be easy to replace, but Dodge will only sell the complete window motor mechanism as a system for $150.

1st one went out, repaired myself. 8 months later another one, 1 yr later another one, less than a year last one. The front drivers window that was replaced broke again, problem is little piece of plastic crap where cables hold. NOT covered under warranty.

This is the 2nd time in 18 months I have replaced the window. 3 of the 4 windows in the car have fallen due to the regulator. The motor is fine, but of course they only come as a unit!

window won't go up or down! maybe off track. not covered under warranty. too much time has passes. dealership says it will cost 350.00 to fix. this is ridiculous for a vehicle which has less than 38000 to be messed up.
