While driving in inclement weather, the windshield wipers came on an went off their own. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection and the consumer informed the mechanic that this vehicle was on recall for the windshield wiper motor. The mechanic stated that this vehicle was not on recall. The consumer had to pay for repairs. The consumer replaced the upper and lower ball joints.
