While driving 25 mph front driver's side seat collapsed backward. Consumer was able to maintain control of vehicle, and drove it to the dealer. Mechanic determined that front seat needed to be replaced, and the seat was on back order from the manufacturer.
Seat belt web is in close proximity to second row seat base latch mechanism for the outside seat and can drop down, interfering with the latch. Seat will pivot back to its normal position, but may not be properly latched. If this happens and vehicle wasto make a maneuver, such as hard braking, the second row outside seat can pivot forward and hit driver in back of head.
