Dodge has horrible customer support, and are clearly willing to put customers lives at risk to increase revenue. My wife opened our case number last week, and our case rep claimed that they were going to make this up to us in some way and told her a few different things that could be done. Since then no one returns any of our calls, and I have even had customer service tell me that their resolutions center in Michigan was snowed in so no one could work. That was 2 days ago... I have even had customer service hang up or say that they cannot hear me and hang up. And now their resolutions center voicemail system is announcing that it is not taking voicemails. Funny thing is, their phones are run on a ShoreTel system, which I am an administrator of one, so I know that they simply added my number to reroute to that message. We do that for spam calls in our office.
So here is my case. I bought a 2016 Dodge Dart, and just recently the brakes began locking up. This happened two times while my wife was driving. The brake pedal would just become rock solid and not be able to be pressed down. So braking became impossible without freakishly stomping on the pedal. So we took it into the car dealership, to have the brakes completely replaced of the period of 8 days. The issue with the brakes was the same issue that caused the recall of over 105,000 cars! This put my entire family at risk since we took a family vacation hundreds of miles away from our hometown with this car, and since I have been driving my children to school every day with it as well. As you can imagine this has made my Wife and I very upset. And now on top of this, it appears that they are trying to avoid even talking to us about it. Like since the car was fixed we should just go away.
These big companies cannot get away with overlooking things like this whether it was intentional or not.
