Flash: 2.0L Diagnostic And System Improvements
This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest
software.
A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)
illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC):
? P0116 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Performance.
? P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak.
? P0441 - EVAP Purge System Performance.
? P1D73 - AGS (Active Grill Shutter) Performance.
? U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module.
In addition to the above conditions, this software release also includes enhancements for
the following:
? ASD/Fuel pump relay cycling during Remote Start.
? E15 cold start improvements in temperatures below 20°F (-7°C).
