Faulty strut on front driver's after only 2000 miles or so. The seal on the strut broke and all the fluid leaked out. The mechanic said he has never seen this before. It'll be interesting to see if there will be more reports about this. Hopefully it's just a factory defect and won't happen to the new one. Car is covered under warranty and the part came in after being ordered two days prior. Other than this, my dart has been a great car. Excellent gas mileage and so far awesome ride.
PURCHASED 2015 DODGE DART RALLY SXT (BRAND NEW OBVIOUSLY) - TRADED MY 2013 DART AFTER HAVING ISSUES... 2015 DODGE DART HAD A RATTLING UNDERNEATH HOOD, RIGHT PASSENGER SIDE. DEALERSHIP'S SERVICE DEPT. CHECKED IT OUT & SAID IT WOULD GO AWAY AFTER 100 MILES. INSTEAD PROBLEM GOT WORSE, AND BY 100 MILES THE STRUT HAD BUSTED LEAKING FLUID & MELTING AREA AROUND THE STRUT / SHOCK / SUSPENSION. I HAD TO DEMAND CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM TO SWAP THE CAR. SWAPPED FOR EXACT MODEL, ONE VIN # DOWN, AND EXPERIENCED SAME ISSUES THAT PRESENTED A FEW DAYS AFTER GETTING THE CAR. LAST DART IS NOW IN THE SHOP, WITH NO ETA ON PART FOR STRUT MOUNT THAT IS FAULTY. I HAD TO PITCH A FIT TO KEEP RENTAL B/C DEALERSHIP WANTED TO PUT ME BACK IN CAR THAT HAD ALREADY EGG SHAPED 3 TIRES IN LESS THAN 200 MILES, WAS SKIDDING UNCONTROLLABLY, AND I FELT UNSAFE.
NOW WAITING ON CASE MGR FROM DODGE TO CONTACT ME. DEALERSHIP IS A JOKE. LOCAL NEWS HERE I COME. BUYER BEWARE: I LOVE THE DARTS AWESOME CARS, BUT THEY HAVE MAJOR ISSUES (I'M ON MY 3RD)!!!! IN 1 1/2 YEARS.
