Car started to misfire and sometimes accelerate by itself ended up spending over to 3000 on mechanic and dealership to ended up have to rebuild the ECM because dealership after pay them close to 2000 said the ECM was discontinued so it was nothing they can do about it so my local mechanic ended up sending the ECM to be rebuilt and it worked but after spending over 3000 so this car need to be recalled and reimburse all this money spent
The contact called on behalf of his daughter who owns a 2015 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that his daughter experienced a failure with oil consumption. The contact stated that his daughter stated while driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that oil was spilling onto the engine. There was no leaks present. The contact was informed that the ECM needed to be reprogramed. The ECM was reprogrammed however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.
