There was a snap and loss of power brakes. I took it to the dealer because the 2013 and 2014 Dodge Darts had the same problem. 2013 and 2014 Darts were recalled. Dodge told me the 2015 was not recalled and it was my responsibility. I took it to my auto repair (in business for over 30 years) and when they plugged it in to their scanner, they couldn't read the codes because Dodge hasn't released them to the private sector yet. So back to Dodge and set it up to fix it and asked if they could help with cost. They said even though it was 37,000 miles they wouldn't help cause I didn't buy it brand new. It had 25,000 miles when I bought it.

They had to send for a master cylinder (none in the greater Phoenix area) which took three days and of course I had to rent a car. The master cylinder leaked into the power booster and wiped it out. They replaced both for $697.46. It isn't the same issue as 2014 and 2013 cause in those, engine oil leaked into the power booster and wiped it out. Mine, the master cylinder failed (after a year and wiped out the booster. I've replaced master cylinders on my Fords and Dhevys over the years and ALWAYS got more than a year out of a parts store master cylinder. I wonder if other Dart owners have had this problem and if so, maybe we can get a recall. I saved the old parts just in case.

Please let me know if you know of others with the same problem.
