Pulling the car out of the garage, my wife noticed the traction control light on. Having never seen it, she shut off the car to ask me. She then tried to start the car again and nothing happened. The car was acting like the brake was not being pushed, cycling through AC, on, and off.

The car would start with the remote start function, but only run for 8 seconds and die. (Engine light on). Tried multiple times and would not start or crank. After making arrangements for a tow, I tried one more time, and the car cranked and started. It ran a little rough for a minute and smoothed out. Check engine light remained on. Drove to dealership.

Dealer called the next day and said it was the brake switch (which they had to order). Switch came in the next day, they replaced the switch and said it was ready.

Update from Dec 5, 2015: THIS COMPLAINT BELONGS IN THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES SECTION! The above sentence - The car was acting like the brake was not being pushed, cycling through AC, on, and off.

I have not had this car long at all! I leased it only to get in good with the leasing company. I planned on having this car for 2 years then trading it in for something much nicer. I didn’t even have it for 6 months before I was driving it and all of the sudden the windshield wipers started to go off and the blinkers wouldn’t work.. I tried honking the horn, it wouldn’t work either.. I took it to the Dodge dealership in Mckinney TX and they had it for about a day and told me to pick it up it was fine.. I got the car and all looked well until now when it happen again while I was on the freeway.. I'm so worried that the car is going to loose the steering wheel all together and I go flying off the road.. I've contacted Dodge and they are "investigating" the issue.. I would hope Dodge would want to resolve this and give me a totally different car!.
