On the way to work I hit a pot hole on these lovely Michigan roads and it resulted in a flat tire. I managed to pull over to put a spare tire on and to my surprise - no spare tire. All I found was a liquid inflation device which took me a half hour our of the trunk and to figure out how to even use the thing. I proceeded to pump this "gunk" in the tire and drove it for a couples like the direction said to do and pulled over again to fill it with more "gunk" This didn't work. The tire still leaked and got flat again so I had to get the car towed. The tire repair facility calls me and says the tire was obviously unrepairable and that I would need to replace the tire sensor since the "gunk" ruined it. So in other words this flat cost me the cost of a tow, the cost of a new tire, the cost of a sensor & my lost time all because there wasn't a spare tire. I called my sales person and complained and didn't seem to care. He just said that how they were made to same the car maker costs.
