- Summary
- Flash: 2.0L Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. The customer may describe a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation a technician may find one or more of the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: · **P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. · P2610 - PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance.** · U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module. · P1D73 - AGS Performance. · P0116 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Performance. · P0456 - Evap System Small Leak. In addition to addressing the above DTCs, the following powertrain system improvements/enhancements are also included in this software release: · Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) Fuel Economy display accuracy. · Improved Enhanced Automatic Oil Change Indicator (EAOCI) system accuracy. · Corrected a generic scan tool display issue regarding Mode 6 data accuracy.
