This a plastic bushing that failed. This uncoupled the shifting cable from the the transmission. Luckily this happened while the car was in park and not while driving. If it happened while driving it would would have been a lot worse. One bump and the car could have popped in reverse or neutral and my daughter could have been in a wreck. Dodge Customer Care claims this no power train warranty work. It's under the Federal Emissions policy. They are not taking this issue seriously.
