Dakota 3.7L V6

The truck shudders when accelerating from a dead stop. the more resistance the worse it is. I have been told by the dealer service advisor that it is a characteristic of the truck with the 3.7l engine. I drove another identical truck and it did the same thing. The dealer is telling me I am the only one complaining about this. I am having a hard time getting any satisfaction from the dealer or Chrysler.
