Front end isn't smooth. It was diagnosed as tie rod ends, sway bars, and a few other things all wrong at once.

Dakota ST 4.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 160,000 miles

So, I put my truck in reverse, take my foot off the brake, and the damn wheel just... falls off. The ball joint was just sheered in half, the wheel falls off, and on the way down, it takes out the tie rod, control arms, front drive axle, and the rack and pinion. Almost $2,000 in repairs!!!!

with 54,000 miles front suspension bad inspected by dealer-- found right upper control arm ball joint bad--right outer tierod bad--lower ball joints bad again .the dealer states that they will not do any thing because of the milage 55,000 and it is out of warrenty.--contacted chrysler they also stated because of the miles and out of warrenty nothing will be done.I feel with the history of front suspension failures that something is very wrong with this truck.I am almost 70 years old and drive like a 70 year old. this is truck no 5 for me. never had these problems with any of the other trucks.I need help with this.......
