Purchased 2006 Dodge Dakota in Dec 2015 with 6300 actual miles. Within days of driving, the truck would just lose power and shut itself off WHILE driving down the road. Loss of steering, brakes etc. Very scary! Remembered that some vehicles had problems with ignition switch issues with too many keys on key ring. Removed ALL key ring & keys, leaving only truck key. Seemed issue wasresolved until a key or two were added back onto key ring. With only one other key on keychain other than truck key, truck stalled/died while driving within one half mile from home. Every single time! Contacted local dealership about any possible recalls or fixes for issue. Nothing!!! Asked about any other recalls, told there were NONE. I don't see any other complaints about this issue on this website. Is there a super simple fix for this model - like the recent recalls on thousands of other vehicles that were considered 3 cent (?) fix?
