Purchased this truck and fuel gauge read 3/4 full so on my way home (85 mile drive) truck ran out of gas, gauge still reading 3/4 full. Received road side assistance (5 gallon gas) and was able to get to gas station and fill up tank which took on about 16 gallons and fuel needle now reads full. Been driving truck now for 5 days and fuel needle is still on full so the float sensor in fuel tank is stuck once again. The component in the tank is an all-in-one part (pump/filter/level sensor) and costs about $320 plus labor. The normal test drive done before purchase didn't use much fuel so there was no way to think there would be a problem like this when purchased so it is what it is, lesson learned, you can't see all the problems you're purchasing, some you've just got experience.
