More often than not when I turn on the left turn signal the right one flashes, turn on the right turn signal and the left one flashes. My truck has a tilt steering wheel and changing the wheel position clears the problem of the wrong signal flashing. The position of the tilt wheel seems to be the problem which leads me to believe there's a pinched wire somewhere in the sterring column.
I've not yet gone to a dealer to have this looked at.
