The BMS controls auto door locks, battery protection, chimes, courtesy lamps, headlamp time delay, ignition key lamp, illuminated entry, instrument panel dimming, power door locks, windshield wipers/washers, etc.
The brake lights illuminated, it started to ding, my speedometer went haywire and it began to constantly change gears. I took it to Midas...I trust them. My truck is 4 years old but has very low mileage. No warranty because of it's age. The dealership told Midas they have seen several Dodge vehicles with this problem and if it's not fixed quickly it will damage another part that cost over $2,000.
