This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
My windshield is being scratched because of dry wiper blades contacting the initial dry glass before the washer pump engages, then the blades will oscillate about 6 times before even a dribble of water will show up. The lines were pressurized and jetted both with air and water. The dealer told me that I would have to replace the pump. The visibility is good when it rains. New arms and blade assemblies were installed. Vision is not safe at 25mph. At 55mph when the pump is engaged it seems that water is being siphened and a better coverage of the glass occurs.
The module controlling my 2002 Dodge Dakota's headlight's, windshield wipers, interiot lights failed. Symptoms are shockingly close to those of the recall (I do have a manual transmission). Headlights failed, brights failed, wipers failed. Only turn signals horn and caution lights remain. Dealer refuses to admit it is related to recall. Symptoms are the same! what do I do about this!?
