There are several trucks with the same problem as mine on two separate auto lots in Louisiana, in which the rt. Rear wheel protrudes out further than the other three by 1 to 1/2 inches. Daimler's service representative inspected mine and said it was safe to drive. I want to make absolutely sure that it is for me as well as anyone else that purchases this vehicle. They did find the rear springs on mine to be defective, and replaced them. My brakes failed after this incident. I was told that it was probably caused by the replacement of the springs in that something was overlooked at the service department. I am interested in making sure this is not caused do to the rt rear wheel not aligning correctly, and could this cause any safety problems in towing heavy loads in the bed.
