Premature front wheel bearing failure: Replaced left front wheel bearing at 72,026 miles; needs replacement again at 79,505 miles; 15 months later. (2000 Dodge Dakota: P/N: 52009528ae.
Only 70000 on the 2000 Dodge Dakota. Tie rods broke without warning. Had to replace 2 outer and 1 inner tie rod. At the same time the ball bearings were found to be in horrible shape. Those had to be replaced too.
Front end noises. Clunking sound that continues to get louder. Has been checked by Dodge service center a few times. The last time they replaced front ball joint. Still has a loud clunk. Also, it will not hold an alignment for any lenght of time.
