The contact owns a 2000 Dodge Dakota. While driving between 30-35 mph, the contact swerved to avoid a cat and struck a tree and a parked car. The air bags failed to deploy. The key broke off in the ignition and the turn signal was damaged. The vehicle was destroyed. The contact's face struck the steering wheel. As a result, her teeth went through her lip, her face was bruised, she sustained a black eye, and her right hand was cut and swollen. A police report was filed. The failure mileage was unknown.
: the contact stated another driver turned in front of the vehicle while traveling 35-40mph, the brakes were applied, but the vehicles collided in a near head on position. The contact was not wearing a seat belt, but sustained no injuries. The police took a report at the scene and the vehicle was towed to the contacts home. The manufacturer was not alerted.
While driving at 25 mph consumer was following another vehicle, and upon stepping on the brakes consumer's vehicle did not slow down and collided with the other vehicle. Consumer was wearing seat belts, but the air bags did not deploy. When driving at any speed the brakes usually locked up, causing the vehicle to slide to the right through intersections.
The vehicle was involved in a frontal collision, and the air bags did not deploy, the consumer was injured.. the consumer back was broke, also the manufacturer stated the vehicle was not hit hard enough for the air bags to deploy.
Vehicle was involved in a head on collision into a van. Estimated speed of impact was 30 mph. Driver did make contact with console or side of truck. Upon impact, dual air bags failed to deploy, and driver sustained injuries.
While driving at 45 mph was involved in a head on collision and front air bags did not deploy. Vehicle was totaled. Contacted dealer, and dealer was not willing to do anything.
While consumer was at a complete stop another vehicle ran into consumer's vehicle head-on, but none of the air bags deployed. Contacted dealer who was not willing to do anything about it. Consumer states that the driver?S seat belt did not keep the drivers head from slamming into the steering wheel.
While driving 65 mph vehicle hit a barrier head on, and driver's airbag did not deploy. Consumer suffered head injuries. Received recall letter on clock spring assembly after accident. Consumer would like someone to look at vehicle. Information provided by eric emanuelson, attorney.
My wife hit a car that turned in front of her (T-bone)at 35 mph. Airbags failed to deploy and the rear seatbelts failed to lock up and restrain back seat passenger.
Air bags did not deploy after a head-on collison while travling at 65 mph. There was no prior warning to air bags not deploying. Consumer has not contacted dealer yet.
Glass exploded into dust and lodged in my eye causing bleeding. The glass did not stay intact like windshield glass does, due to a plastic film in glass. Airbag did not deploy. Luckily I was not blinded, but I needed to repspond to the doctors three times to remove all glass from my eye.
