This vehicle was specifically ordered from Dodge as a towing vehicle. The truck came with the factory installed towing package. However, there are no towing mirrors offered as an option. I do not think Dodge should build towing vehicles without providing the availability to purchase such mirrors. I have notified Dodge about the problem and all they say is there are no factory towing mirrors for the Dakota trucks. Yet they continue to offer factory installed towing packages. This policy does not make sense. If they do not offer towing mirrors for this model then they should not offer a towing package. I cannot even locate a towing mirror replacement only the universal strap on ones which do not work well. Cipa offers a slide over towing mirror but not for the Dodge Dakota slt model that I have. Please look into this.
