Engine Stalling Help - You should not use the first and second gears, unless necessary. The stalling has something to do with the engine having low RPM. When you let off the gas the engine can't keep running, I am looking more into this as you read this. (Before you ask yes I am a youtuber)
This is my step fathers truck - He lives on social security - about 800 bucks a month -
I won't even go there - Government sucks for people on Social Security -
Anyhow, this truck - maybe the engine ? Stutters, stalls, backfires -
can't drive over 20mph without it stutter really really bad -
We have changed the Oxygen Sensor and have stopped there as he doesn't
have the funds to work around the problem - Does anyone have a solution?
Please help.
Thanks
same sputtering/stalling as other complaint-random though, no pattern, just scares the hell out of you when it happens! I wish someone could figure it out!
We have 2 vehicles from Dodge doing the same thing!! 1995 Dakota and 1994 Shadow. Have replaced fuel filters and O2 sensors and fuel pumps. Never know when this is going to happen - cold or hot/immediately or after long driving. Engine lopes, vehicle lunges, then stutters and stalls. Sometimes Check Engine Light comes on and sometimes it won't. WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.... especially if they got it figured out!!!
