Brought to Dayton Andrews Dodge in St. Petersburg Florida on May 14,2021 for radio malfunction issues.
Third time brought to Dealership for same issue that they refuse to do anything about. This time I spoke to the service managers, to no avail.
They told me a 3rd party is responsible for radios - Uconnect. Shift the blame. No one has any authority to make a decision and address a complaint. They said could not do anything because Uconnect refuses to allow radio replacements and only offers software updates.
My software is at latest update already. They check every time I bring it in.
The USB hub that they were supposed to call me about on last visit was forgotten. Miscommunication, new employee, whatever excuse they had for not calling me back. They would get a USB hub and put it in Saturday.
I again provided fresh video from April-May of the screen malfunctions. These are not singular events but a continuous problem that occurs about 3 times a week from November 2020 until the present. I have about 10 videos of it happening. I did not record every instance. Again they said they couldn't duplicate the failure so couldn't replace the radio.
My research shows that there have been lawsuits in other states (Kansas, Michigan) for this very issue. Is that my final recourse?
