decreased visibility in windshield due to sparkles
Bought my 2016 Charger, brand new. Discovered soon after that when the sun is directly hitting the windshield, i.e.; every morning and afternoon on my way home from work, I can not see out of it very well. It is so bad, I can see an outline of the cars in front of me but not the type, tag, or brake lights. It is very scary. We have cleaned and cleaned it thinking it was on the inside or outside, even taken it back to the dealership to clean, and to a detailer. All without success. It looks like there are tiny cracks inside of the glass, and I mean millions as you can see in the pictures. I have gone to the dealership, general manager, service manager, and am now waiting for a decision to replace my windshield. The dealership actually found the same problem in other new vehicles on the lot but I'm not sure what will be done about those. We own nothing but Dodge, my husband has a 2015 Durango and we love both. His has this but to a lesser degree and does not cause the problems mine does, we think because the windshield is at a different angle on the car. My concern is that whoever makes the Dodge windshields for you is giving you a substandard product and you should check on that.
